Ross Platts

Teacher

Mr. Platts joined The Bay School team in 2016 as an Instructor, was later promoted to Senior Instructor, and transitioned to his current role of Teacher Trainee in 2022. As Teacher Trainee, he has been gaining experience developing IEPs, designing treatment procedures, and managing a classroom. Mr. Platts received his BA in Sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Mr. Platts enjoys supporting students with communication, social skills, and community-based learning opportunities. 

Mr. Platts currently attends California State University, Monterey Bay where he is completing coursework to obtain his moderate/severe education specialist instruction credential.
